During her visit to Perdana Botanical Garden, she met with Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, wife of the Malaysian Prime Minister, and Kuala Lumpur Mayor Maimunah Mohd Sharif. The discussions focused on zero waste initiatives, and new agreements were signed to strengthen eco-friendly collaborations between Turkey and Malaysia.

During the visit, Kuala Lumpur Municipality’s successful zero waste projects were examined. Discussions highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and experience to advance sustainable development goals.

Emine Erdoğan emphasized that the cooperation agreements signed between the Zero Waste Foundation, Kuala Lumpur Municipality, and the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation marked a crucial step in fostering environmental awareness.
